Carers Awareness Week 2011 continues the tradition of supporting carers, building public awareness of carer issues and celebrating the success that is another year completed in the caring role.
Carers Week 2011 Week holds a range of state wide and local events for carers. The Calendar of events will be available in the September edition of the SA Carer and online in September.
The 2011 Carers Day at the Movies will feature on Tuesday the 18th at the Capri Cinema. This year the movie is Water for Elephants and the session time is 11.00am . It's a great chance to take some time out, catch up with the hundreds of other carers who come along and of course, it is free to carers and their families.
Part of a carer group? Groups are welcome to join us at the Carers Movie Day however, we do ask that you contact us prior to ensure that seats are available. As parking is limited in the area, we ask larger groups to arrange bus transport and advise there will be a a drop off zone available at the cinema door. Email us below to let us know about your group or call us on (08) 8291 5600 and ask for Margaret.
