Rosemary Warmington has been the Chief Executive Officer of Carers SA since 1994. Underpinning her work, is a commitment to processes that involve thinking, strategy and feelings.

Rosemary has tertiary qualifications in management and leadership including Monash University – Mt Eliza Business School and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; BA Social Work; Grad Dip Business Admin; Diploma in Company Directors, FAICD

Rosemary has many years of experience in government and community services working across policy, funding and service delivery. She has also worked as a therapist and worker in the delivery of front line community and health services.

Rosemary has been a member of a range of national and state committees related to the delivery of strategic change for carers across mental health, disability, ageing, transport, young people, housing, and health and chronic illness including ministerial advisory committees.

I lead the team at Carers SA so that as an organisation, we can provide the means for a unified voice for carers, ensuring carers from all walks of life are heard. Practically, we aim to lead in service delivery for carers, to promoting education and awareness, there by creating a brighter future for all carers in South Australia.
